Despite the wet January weather, we have had a very positive week in BGNS. We celebrated our school community with lots of fun and positivity for Ubuntu Week. Ideal timing for the last week of January!! Yoga, quiz, Bingo, mindfulness and feel good tunes all helped to create an atmosphere for learning and helping each other in school. Well done to all the pupils who completed the Ubuntu@Home sheets. We hope you found the conversations with your child insightful and interesting 🙂

A big thank you to our Parents’ Association, who organised the fundraiser quiz last night in St. Jude’s. Despite the weather, there was a great turn out. Thank you to all the businesses in our local community who sponsored the rounds, and to all who came to support the event. It is very much appreciated.

A reminder that school is closed for pupils next Friday 6th Feb as we have staff professional learning for the new Primary Curriculum Framework.
